ABOUT RICHARD
Richard Fontana has 18 years of professional hair styling experience. He began his formal training with master stylist José Eber in Beverly Hills, California. He then spent five years as head style educator at the Palm Desert Salon where he was responsible for training and managing a staff of ten stylists. While in California, Richard became involved in hairstyling for stage work and at numerous charitable events including the Betty Ford Center and Athletes and Entertainers for Kids. After working at Clive Summers’ salon in New York City for a year, Richard moved to Las Vegas to open the Richard Anthony Salon with his brother Steven in 1994. The salon was named “Best Salon in Las Vegas” by Best of LasVegas.com in 2000. In Las Vegas, Richard continued to do stage work and participated in the National Association of Producers and Entertainers Convention (NAPE).

Richard is the eldest of three brothers, who all have found hair styling to be a way of life. Richard, Scott and Steven spent their childhood days assisting at their parents’ in-home salon near L.A. For this family, hair styling is in the family roots and it did not take long for each of the Fontana brothers to recognize his natural passion and talent for hair fashion. Richard has become a nationally-renowned stylist with Salon Fontana in Boston inside the Sports Club LA and at the Richard Anthony Salon in Las Vegas inside Club Sport Green Valley.

Richard is now based solely in Nevada, offering world-class hair styling to Las Vegas full time!
